General Motors to Continue Production of Top-Selling Stripped, Junkyard Brand Cars
December 18, 2009
In automobile news, despite the on-going demise of General Motors, the suffering car company still plans to continue the production of their top-selling stripped, junkyard brand cars. Even though their formerly popular brands like Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and HUMMER have all dipped considerably, sales for their trashy, for-parts-only cars have skyrocketed.“The emergence of our abandoned, rusting cars have really saved us,” said Terrence Miles, a GM Executive. “We’ve been in the process of cutting costs here and there—even closing down brands altogether—but through these hard times, those engineless, oft-defecated-in cars have been the one bright star in this deep depression.”
Despite the limbo state of the company, General Motors speculates that they will still produce their stripped, junkyard cars through at least 2012. In addition, contrary to rumors, GM has no plans to sell their inoperable, bon-fire-worthy car technology to Chinese automaker Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings Co.
