In entertainment news, the new Kevin Costner Netflix spin off—CostnerFlix—which features just the works of Kevin Costner, was released this week to the public. The new branch of Netflix has millions of copies of the 40+ films the one-note actor has starred in—all illustrating his range as the same character he always plays.

“Believe it or not, but Kevin Costner has always been our most popular actor on Neflix, so CostnerFlix was just a natural step for us,” said CostnerFlix executive, Brian Miles. “People don’t seem to care that he’s only good in sports movies, and that he can’t seem to shake his California twang—even as a British character in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Time after time, people flock to see his movies, even though they know exactly what they’re going to be like since he’s basically the same sappy, down and out—yet beloved character. Regardless, the public has now been granted their long-time wish of a Kevin Costner movie delivery service, and I doubt anyone can match it.”

Users of CostnerFlix agreed with Miles’ assessment of the new spin off:

“I was tired of the old service offering me better films with an array of more talented actors,” said CostnerFlix user, Patty Mahem. “I wanted something that was a lot less mindless, and gave me the type of mediocre acting done by the best mediocre actor, Kevin Costner. I wasn’t even all that surprised when I found out that Tin Cup, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, and For Love of the Game were all the same movie until they decided to release it in four separate parts.”

The service costs $5.99 monthly, and users are encouraged to upgrade to five Costner movies at once for free. According to sources, Blockbuster plans to create their own one-note actor spin off DVD delivery services—for the likes of Meg Ryan, Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, and possible many others.
