Intricate Button-Combination in Street Fighter Unlocks Code That Resets the 7 Hours Spent Figuring It Out
March 30, 2010
In video game news, Brian Talbot, a 29 year-old unemployed electrician and huge Super Nintendo addict, spent late-hours on Tuesday night figuring out a secret code in Street Fighter that actually reset the 7 hours it took him to uncover the intricate button-combination. While Talbot's girlfriend claimed he could have used the time more productively--like for taking out the trash, finding a job, or even just calling 911 while the burglars robbed their apartment and held her at gunpoint--Talbot was pleased with his video game accomplishment."I've been playing Street Fighter since I was a kid, but I never unlocked anything as cool as that," said Talbot, whose fingers were stained bright orange from his immense consumption of Cheetos. "Like I've found-out codes for unlimited health, extra strength, and secret bosses--but I never unlocked something that actually reset all the wasted hours I spent finding the code. It's times like this that I'm glad I don't have a stable career."
Despite his accomplishment, Talbot has no plans to retire from playing Street Fighter. According to Talbot's friends, who he hasn't seen in a few days, Talbot plans to take the next week attempting to unlock a code that will reset his life 18 years.
