Even though Perry's past films have been labeled as "cookie-cutter," "stereotypical," and even "a piece of fucking shit," critics have actually praised Perry's "Blank Screen."

"Perry usually fills his movies with B-actors and plot lines that set back African-Americans hundreds of years, but his decision to just make a blank screen was edgy," said film critic, Connor Stevens. "Perry has the unique ability to convince hoards of people to blindly buy tickets to movies that took him a few hours to make, so I applaud him for changing up his formula, and actually giving viewers something more stimulating--even if it is a blank screen."

According to sources, Perry plans to green light two more installments of "Blank Screen," which will be exactly the same thing as the original "Blank Screen."
